___________intro__________________________________
hi. im new to these forums and after searching havn't found a post about this yet. im running a compaq presario c700 notebook pc with
WEI of 3.0
processor subscore 4.7
memory subscore 4.4
graphics subscore 3.0
gaming graphics subscore 3.2
hard drive subscore 5.4
intel(R) pentium(R) Dual CPU T2370 @ 1.73GHz 1.73GHz
RAM DDR2 2.50 GB (one 512MB and one 2GB)
system type 32-bit Operating System
and its running windows vista with service pack 1
fact is that my computer happens to be somewhat slow, can not play gears of war on the lowest settings, and has difficulty running even runescape on standard detail in small screen with all settings on lowest.
______important part______________________________________________
my question is if trying to upgrade my memory further will yield any noticable results for value or if i should try to save for a new computer instead. im operating on the tight budget of an early teenager with somewhat conservative parents and can not afford a 2grand gaming laptop. thanks for your help.

Your problem is the videocard. The C700 has a Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100. The X3100 is not going to run games like Gears of War.
Upgrading the memory really won't help when it comes to playing videogames.
You cannot upgrade the videocard.
You have two options.
1. Buy a better laptop
2. Buy a gaming desktop
