I have 2 LG flat screen monitors and a new HP Pavilion a6600f desktop. The VGA to DVI adapters that I've tried haven't worked. Do you know where I can get one that is the right one?

the only thing I can think is the monitors dont support DVI-A (a for analog), and only supports DVI-D (Digital)    Analog DVI uses different pins on a DVI cable. 

If your monitor has a VGA input, use that its the same quality as DVI-A anyway.
