so i was wondering here sept i do that a lot, but i was thinking what $700-$1,000, 15-16" laptop would be good to play games like assasins creed, all the total wars, sins of a solar empire, and whatever, faily smoth or just smoothly. also i would be running autoCAD drafting programs and such and i would use this laptop for school and internet stuff........please if u could help me get ideas and choices that would be greatly appreciated, i have 3 choices down already but im not to sure, so please if u could help that would be great. thanks

You're looking at LEAST $1200, most likely closer to $1700.

AutoCAD needs a lot of power. You might want to look at a desktop.

This toshiba  This samsung and this dell  would all meet most of your needs to an extent. The samsung would have the best graphics performance out of the three and would meet most gaming and drafting requirements. you would still need office for schoolwork as none come with it.

I remember something someone told me a long time ago when we discussed Auto Cad is that ATI was designed for Auto Cad designing. But then again those were Fire GL cards. I wonder how these hold up.
