dialup connections

I have 3 laptops at home, of which 2 of the laptops have a connection for my phone cord so i can get online, the third laptop does not, it only has a ethernet/broadband connection.  i only have dial up internet service.  my question is, is there a router of connector i can buy so i can hook the third computer up to my dial up connection?

Re: dialup connections

Not that I'm aware of. You can try using the network connection sharing wizard, but I doubt it will work.

Re: dialup connections

There used to be a set of cards you could buy that set up a home dialup connection back in the late 90's. I used to install the complete kit for four computers for around $200. However, I haven't seen them for quite a while now and never did see them for laptops. They went the way of the dinosaur I think... I would suggest contacting your local telephone or cable provider to see what options exist. If none, go satellite broadband.
