compaq presario2700

I have a compaq presario 2700 the battery is fully charged but my laptop still will not operate. Whats up with that.

A little more information would be useful. What do you mean "will not operate"? Do you mean it won't turn on at all? Won't load into windows?

 

I have a few general suggestions that you can try.

 

Remove the battery and let it sit for a few minutes, replace the battery then try.

 

If that doesn't work, try taking the battery out and run it on AC power alone.

 

If BOTH of those fail, please bring it into a precinct and have an Agent do a hardware diagnostic which is $69.99, or if you have a Performance Service Plan, is free.

It will not work period on battery. No nothing . The battery says that it is fully charged and that the device is working propery. Is ther something in the files that world block it from working, such as the ups, just asking.

In that case I would start pointing my finger at your motherboard. There is not a file that would disable batter use.

 

That's my $.02 and about as far as I can suggest without seeing it.
