i order a toshiba P505D-S8930 for 550$ on 07/18/2009 and now it august 09 and i sitll didn't get my laptop yet. it said estimate arrival time is august 04-14 and when i check my order status online it still back ordered any idea how i can get my laptop.

You're either going to chill out and wait, or go to plan B. Not too much anyone here can do about a backorder situation.

This unit is sold out everywhere, we are currently waiting on more supply from Toshiba. The BestBuy.com team at 1-888-BestBuy can order you a different laptop if you find another on you like.

thank you. but do you know about when it will be in stock? (estimate date if possible) the wait is not really a problem i just want to make sure i get the laptop

I do not have an estimated date.
Maybe one of our Community Connectors can check with BestBuy.com on an estimated date.
