I'm thinking about buying an Acer 1410.  Should I wait unit Acer starts shipping the 1410 wirh Windows 7 ?

I realize the 1410 comes with a free upgrade to Windows 7, but I'm thinking that the upgrade will be a hassle. Drivers,etc.

 

I've also read that battery life is much shorter once Windows 7 is installed (RC version) and the machines battery managment systems need to be 'optimized' for Windows 7?

 

I wonder if Best Buy will soon carry the Acer 1410?

 

 

I was also considering the Gateway LT1303U,  but there is no free upgrade to Windows 7. 

 

The Acer 1410 specs seem better than the Gateway !
