I've been researching netbook computers.  I really like their portablility and don't need the power of my desktop when on the go.  But - I also don't like to settle for 2nd best.  I want all the bells and whistles that a current top netbook has to offer.  N280 processor (not N270), very long battery life (not all 6-cells are created equal), bluetooth, great keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera, wireless N, 160 gb hard drive, upgradeable to 2gb of ram.  The only model I have found that offers all of the above is the Asus 1005HA-PU1X.  There are 3 levels of Asus 1005HA models, Best Buy offers only the lower 2 models (1005HAB and 1005HA-VU1X).  Best Buy sells the 1008HA-PU1X which is not the same model series and only has a 3-cell battery and only 2 USB ports.  I'm not opposed to a different brand, it's just that all of the others seem to be missing some of the features I am looking for.  The Asus 1005-PU1X with it's 10.5 hr (rated) battery seems to have it all.  I can get it on-line or from MicroCenter, but I prefer to shop at Best Buy because of their excellent extended warranty and great customer service.  I know that Best Buy offers many netbook computers (I've look at them all on line).  But why don't they sell the one with all the best  features?  Was this their buyer's oversight?

If anyone knows of a netbook that has ALL of the features I'm looking for besides the Asus 1005HA-PU1X at a price of $400 or under, please let me know.

Oh man.  I am looking for the exact same netbook.  I haven't checked my local Best Buy, and I'm hoping theres an Asus with all those specs, but I doubt it.  I don't want to get on online because of how long it takes, and at a store I can personally play with it.  Hopefull stores around me have it, because I have only researched online.  Next step is to place phone calls around.

Okay so I called me loacl Best Buy, and what they lady told me was in stock were teh same exact ones listed on bestbuy.com. BOOO!!! So I don't know if I'll call the other ones around me because I have a feeling that what they have are the same products online.

Is this a new Asus model taht recently came out?  Why is hard to find? My last resort is oreding it online, but I wont be able to mess around with it, and if it's defected then there's more of a hassle.

Smrid - Many of the online stores sell the Asus 1005HA-PU1X.  It does have all the features I mentioned above (you can check the specs on line) plus I forgot to say high def audio. (I would still use headphones).  If you are worried about the exact look and feel of  the keyboard.  The Best Buy near me has the Asus 1005HAB on display ($299).  It lacks many of the features that I'm looking for, but it's the same model line so it looks identical and has exactly the same keyboard and screen as the 1005HA-PU1X.  I live on Long Island and the MicroCenter store has it in stock for about the same as the on-line prices.  I've seen it in the store there.  However, I'm a Best Buy fan - I'm hoping that this posting will promp BB to add this model to their inventory.
