I have a Toshiba Laptop Satellite with built in WIFI. Works Great! Problem is, I try to connect to WIFI in Mexico, and I either get a very poor signal, or none at all. If I want a good signal, I have to go outside near the bathroom where the access point is. Is there a decent (low cost) booster that will fix this problem?

Sorry I have no experience with these devices.  But you got me thinking.  This could be handy in my travels.  Hotel wireless is usually good laptops, but poor for netbooks and tablets.  I should get me one of these to try out.

By the way.... have you tried contacting the provider to see if they can help you?

Is the Internet your Internet? Just asking because a lot of people piggyback on others.

If it is your Internet I would buy a secondary router to use as an access point/extender. Most are pretty straightforward and is the best way I have found to extend your home Internet.
