Video card upgrade possible?

I'm wondering if my laptop, which is an HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC can possibly get an upgraded video card installed. I've been wondering this for a while because I've been gaming a lot more and though that a better video card is necessary to play the games I have such as Magicka, and would be capable of running future games like Guild Wars 2.

Please let me know the name of the video card that my laptop is compatible with. Cost is irrelevant.

The specs are listed below and please let me know if any more information is needed.

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.111118-2330)
           Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
System Model: HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC
               BIOS: Default System BIOS
          Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU       M 350  @ 2.27GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
             Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 3894MB RAM
Page File: 2683MB used, 5102MB available
    DirectX Version: DirectX 11
DX Setup Parameters: Not found
User DPI Setting: Using System DPI
System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)
    DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled
     DxDiag Version: 6.01.7601.17514 32bit Unicode

Thank you so much for any help!!

Re: Video card upgrade possible?

To be blunt, not it's not feasible. Very, VERY few laptops had upgradable graphics chips, and even then, the price to pay off ratio wasn't worth it.

Unfortunately, that's the bad luck of any electronic, there's going to be bad Apples... wait that's a horrible pun.

Your options are either a desktop for gaming so you can upgrade as you need to,or a new laptop.

Ah I see. Any good laptops that can be used for gaming with suitable graphics to run games such as Magicka and soon Guild Wars 2?

Re: Video card upgrade possible?

The price point reccomendation is spot on, but usually most people who play games will want speed versus graphics so something mid range would work if you turned down everything in the game so it ran smooth.
