I need a recommendation for a video card for a Dimension 4700 to work with a new HP 2311x LED Monitor.

What's your maximum budget? I ask because 9 times out of 10, a new video card will require an upgraded power supply as well to handle it.

Any low-end AMD or Nvidia graphics card should do fine to replace the integrated graphics but a mid-range card probably won't work for you.

Well, the first thing you should think about is not buying graphics card from "Best Buy".

"Best Buy" makes their money from dumb people that like to pay as much as 40% OVER market price. Sure, you can buy name brand products, but if you want to be ripped off, then by all means, contribute your money to Best Buy.

With a 305 Watt power supply the Dimension 4700 is spec for, you will need to replace it for any serious upgrade.
