Hey aebfraz,
As disarray pointed out, Best Buy® does offer price matches on most products we sell. One slight correction though: rather than offering a 14-day price match guarantee across the board, Best Buy® allows for price matches to occur at any point during a product’s return/exchange period. In this particular case, as USB flash drives are a 30-day return/exchange period product, you would have 30 days from the date of purchase to obtain this lower price. All you would need to do is return to your local store with your receipt and speak with a customer service associate, as we are currently unable to accommodate price matches over the phone or online.
Please keep in mind though that other restrictions may apply, and that the product must be in stock at a brick-and-mortar store location in your area. Additionally, Best Buy® is unable to honor bundle packages, clearance, open-box and web-only pricing, as well as any special offers or manufacturer’s rebates. If you’d like more information on this policy, you can always find it by searching for "Store Price Guarantee" on BestBuy.com.
Thanks,
Agent Aaron

Unfortunately, a best buy is too often not at Best Buy. As an example, many of Best Buy's GPS units are 2nd or 3rd generation and can be purchased at a substantially lower price elsewhere (Am-a-zon for instance). Likewise, cables are shamefully priced. If BB doesn't want to match almost everyone else in the free world on cable prices, it should at least have the conscience to keep its mark-up no higher than 150%. It's too bad that since the demise of CircCty, BB has apparently chosen not to offer any price match except within its own organization---not a real impressive policy. I'm a Premier Silver member, I [used to?] spend a lot at BB, but I am becoming increasingly unhappy over BB's pricing given today's economy.
I am a faithful customer that is quickly becoming disillusioned. No competition is a bad thing.

When it comes to computer related items I buy everything from online retailers. Times are tough and every penney saved helps. Retail stores cannot compete with Online Retailers.

Check local stores, especially ones with Wals. It may not be the same model (hopefully it is), but 8 GB San Disk Cruzers are available in Brick and Mortar stores for $20.
The fact that yours was advertised as $45 on SanDisk's site implies it might be a higher end model that will be more difficult to pricematch though.
And yes, on some items BB is competitive, but BB's prices on flash memory and RAM are insane, easily at least 3-4 times that of most other venues for the same items. For example, BB wanted $119 for 1 GB of Kingston DDR SDRAM in SODIMM form factor for laptops. My girlfriend was able to get two of the exact same item for $50 total elsewhere.
