Hello all. 

I am currently looking into buying a Sony Viao (model# VGN-CS125J/P) for college.

I asked all my friends advice and experience with thier laptops.  The one thing they all seem to

agree on is "Batteries die quickly.  Get an extended battery."  O_o

So here I am filling my shopping cart on BB.com and I run into a problem.  I have no idea which

kind of extended battery I need or is the batteries that are the website just replacement batteries? 

I checked through all the batteries that are listed and none of them have the model# of the laptop

that I want to get.  Can someone please please explain to me what I'm missing?  Thank you.

Hey KFoster,

Since this is a fairly new model, chances are that very few manufacturers have had the opportunity to develop extended or replacement batteries for this laptop. I even checked Sony’s main support website (www.sonystyle.com), but still wasn’t able to find any viable replacements. That doesn’t necessarily mean, however, that an extended life battery doesn’t exist! As such, you may want to contact Sony’s Consumer Support hotline at 1-877-865-7669 for more information on part availability.
