Purchased a G60-445DX on Tuesday. It's a great machine. However, today we notice that the icons on desktop screen are hugely magnified. Called Geek Squad, and the agent walked me through trying to change DPI, but DPI was on proper setting. Screen icons and displays are still magnified.

Any other ideas of what I can try before hauling it to local BB store???

I t sounds like the The windows magnifer is turned on. Try these steps to turn it off.

You can remove it by pressing 'Start', and go to 'Control Panel' and look below the 'Ease Of Access' icon. Select 'Optimize Visiual Display' a screen called 'Make Compter Easier to see' will come up. Scroll down to the magnifier and uncheck the magnifier selection. Then click the 'Apply' button.
