I saw a post on Facebook about a friend not receiving what he thought and should have received from Best Buy. He goes on to state that the customer service was crummy and he will no longer shop at Best Buy (pretty powerful statement). I enjoy BB and have continued to receive good service; although, I have never had to do much returning of product or not get what I ordered. In going to the BBC I started reading post after post of dissatisfied customer service messages. What is going on? This apparently is nothing new because the post are dated way back up to currently. Yes, ordering online is the 'new' thing, but there are still customer service needs that have to happen. I can give you specifics of the one concern that brought this to my attention through a private exchange and/or you can go on this website and see for yourself what was promised and didn't happen and the comments about personnel and how they handle or better yet didn't handle customer service the way it should be. Please correct your image and do it soon before it is way too late. http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/retail/st

So now we have THIRD PARTY complaints?
Unless you yourself have had a problem, I should think that you have better things to do with your time than make nearly useless third party rants. Just sayin'.

Not complaining at all with my service. Just trying to keep Best Buy customer service informed of what some customers are coming up against. No kuddos for you though, but surely didn't mean to annoy you.

I'm not annoyed, and I didn't expect kudos. It;s just that I wonder what motivated you...it really serves no purpose to be the third party, as you do not and will not have all the details, and even if someone were to work with you, it wouldn't serve any purpose as you don't have a problem that can be solved. As far as "informing them", a cursory read of theses forums will show that others are doing wquite a good job of informing them.
Again, I am not annoyed...just puzzled.

Words of wisdom & truly more experience than me on this style of forum and well noted. Thanks --
