I was looking into a Gateway that was on sale at bestbuy my local bestbuys around me didn't have them in stock for past days. I kept checking online to see if i would be able to make the purchase online but yesterday that item was no longer online I checked again today and it's gone. I tried to google the model number but it only shows bestbuy selling it.. So my question is since it's not on your webpage anymore will it ever be? the model# MD2419u also sku:9664376.

I actually talked to my guy yesterday and he said that it was a one time only item and once they sold out they were gone.  There were a few stores that still had them out here but they are few and far between.  If your stores don't have any then they are gone and will never come back.

I called my local best buys because i willing to purchase the floor unit but they said it's still in the systems and its just out of stock i asked if they know about it being a one time deal will it come back all she said it was still in the computer were just out stock so i wouldn't even be able to get the floor model. =/ Though when i talked to bestbuy chat they told me its not in their system anymore and i asked would that be the same for the store he/she said yes but apparently thier still showing it.. but just as out of stock. Not really sure i need a laptop for school and really feel in love with that laptop and the price was right on... theirs another gateway that looks simmilar but its much more expensive too much for me to spend right now =/.

I do believe that this unit was a limit purchase and will not be returning anytime soon. Everywhere I have checked, it is sold out.

I called and sigh it's showing out of stock but still listed in their computers so they can't sell me the floor model or tell me when shipment will come... i even asked in the bestbuys webchat thing if it's no longer listed on the website would the stores have it listed in their computers he/she told me no it wouldn't so im clueless on how this goes. I was told the stores list or something of that kind gets updated on tuesday and or friday so i'll give them a call then or actually try to go in.... do you guys think i should go through all this trouble for a floor model unit i never bought one before but im assuming it has the same warrenties as if it was in the box? thanks for helpful input as well guys.

The floor model would carry the same warranty as a new item.

I bought this laptop a few weeks ago when it was still in stock at Best Buy. Five days later, the backlight on the screen broke. I returned the computer and got a rain check for a new one. They said they would contact me when a new shipment came in. If they are no longer stocking the prouct, is the rain chck any good? Is there anything I can do to get a similar computer, or am I at a complete loss?
