I am trying to hook up my Acer Laptop to an Ezpro CTX projector.  The projector is older.  I brought pics of the back of the projector to my local Best Buy.  They recommended I purchase a VGA cable.  I got the cable hooked up to both the laptop and the projector, but the projector is not getting the signal.  Any ideas??

You have to go into your dispaly settings and set up the projector as either your primary or extended desktop.

I tried the suggestion, but it didn't work.  I tried both as an extended display and as the primary.  Any other ideas?

You have to set the resolution to the one that is compatible weith your projector.  If you have tried all of the above, then there is a problem with either the projector or the computer.
