I just got a new laptop for Christmas (HP Pavilion dv5 Entertainment Series) and it seems like I've been having non-stop problems with it. The first week I had it, the speakers went out for a few days
before coming back on, but with some kind of background noise whenever they are used. a few days before New Years, I noticed that whenever I used the Quicktouch Buttons to turn up the volume, it would make the volume spaz out, and I would have to restart my computer to get it to stop.
Also, whenever I shut it down, the next time I start it up the screen doesn't come on, and I have to force it down and start it back up for the screen to work again. Then, 2 weeks ago, it started this thing where, when I tried to use the High Performance power option, which I like to use alot, it makes the computer freeze. A few days after that started, It started overworking itself on startup. whenever I would start it up from Shutdown, it would get really hot and task manager says 100% CPU Usage, and it would do that for half an hour before I could even start up any programs.
There are other things wrong, but they're minor so I don't think I have to list them. But does anyone know what I can do about all this?

According to some of the youtube videos I viewd about the HP DV series entertainment notebooks, the problem seems to lie within the wiring of the notebook right around where the power button is, pushing down firmly on the right spot around there will allow it to operate normally again.
