Norton 360

After having installed this program, do I need to do anything on a regular basis to ensure my laptop/computer is protected or will this occur automatically?

Re: Norton 360

First thing I'd do is uninstall it. Norton is a system hog.

Re: Norton 360

make sure it is set to auto update and auto scan and you should be good to go. really norton 360 is a pretty good program, it is much more subtle than previous versions

Re: Norton 360

Norton 360 v3.0 is much much better than previous verisons. It consumed far less system resources.

Re: Norton 360

Still much more of a hog than Kaspersky or AVG.

Re: Norton 360

I would never own any norton products but the new norton has gotten alot better in consuming less memory.

Nokia took the thread off topic. The user did not ask if it was a memory hog or not. He wanted to know if he needed to do anything to keep everything up to date.

Kudos to Detachable dave for staying on topic and answering the question. :smileyhappy:

Re: Norton 360

I always use Webroot or Kaspersky but that is my opinion. There is nothing technically wrong with Norton...

You get mad at me for giving too little info, and for giving too much. I just can't win.
