Is the laptop / xbox 360 promotion still going on? My mom is trying to do this for me for college, but we are having a hard time figuring out how to process the order and promotion online. Or should we just go to our local best buy?

Look a few posts below. It seems the promotion has ended, and it is unknown if it will return during the summer.

I would still call your local store to verify, but it is no longer in the weekly ad.

Don't Purchase through Best Buy if you want the promotion. Purchase Through Computer CO online store or Microsoft Directly. Best Buy will not honor the Promotion even though the commercials say it end sept 3rd. I purchased $1600.00 HP Laptop from Best buy for my son going to Colledge in the Fall and the Only way I can get the promotion is return the system we bought and Purchase directly from HP. Its such a bunch of crapI may never purchase from Best Buy again. No Help and very angry about the Whole situation. The computer we  wanted was not availible during the prommotion we grabbed the order as soon as we could and was then told it was not eleigible  because Best buys offer ended on June 18th.

Microsoft is the company running the promotion through September 3rd, not Best Buy.
