Ok so we are planning to buy my son a new laptop but its a surprise and we want to get the xbox with it. He's a second year student at college so I was wondering if I could just take his student ID with me to BestBuy and tell them the situation and if they would let me get the Laptop-Xbox deal? I want it to be a early birthday present seeing as how his birthday is after college starts back up again. My question would be "If I took my son's college ID to BestBuy and asked them for the Laptop-Xbox Deal could I get it by showing them his college ID and him not being there and get the 18-month financing?" Thanks for the answers.

I was able to use my son's email address and they honored it. But it may be different in your store, just depends how nice they want to be?
