You stated you now have uVerse, did you have standard DSL before?

 

Are all the phones in your home properly filtered (should see small boxes attached to each phone line)?

 

Do you notice that the connection temporarily drops after yourself or someone else uses the phone, or the phone rings?

that is the only phone line have in the house don't have a home phone cause we just use are cell phones.  When u-verse was installed they put in a phone line. I am still thinking that the wifi card is the problem cause it happened again this morning with not responding
