What's your price limit? That's clearly going to be your limiting factor.

Also, WoW and original Starcraft (don't know about II) are actually pretty light on system requirements. Especially original Starcraft since it's around a decade old.
Right now all we can tell you is you'll get far more bang for your buck with a desktop than a laptop.

@Ethan Yeah, I agree w/ George and Entropy. It's really going to depend on your price range. A desktop will allow you get a more powerful machine, as far as processing power, RAM, etc, for cheaper. But we can definitely help you find some reasonable laptops that will do the trick.

Really recommend getting an Intel based machine with a fair amount of Ram and a Quad Core focus for that only then upgrade with a Graphics Card, it will help you in the long run.
"Gaming Computers" to be honest are generally overpriced and you can get a better deal on a cheaper PC and upping the graphics card or building your own all together.

Warcraft and Starcraft are not very heavy games, so most mid-range and up pc will run them like a champ.
You could easily get away with something in the $650-$800 range without stressing too much about it.

I picked mine up for $380 and am going to pop a Graphics Card in it, and in a year swap to a quad core for all under $400 which would top my already good computer to a PC that can run the newest games.
Right now for $380 I did a
HP
Dual Core E5200 @ 2.50ghz
6gb's of RAM
500gb HDD 7200 RPM
Intel G31/33 Chipset (Intergrated)
Windows 7 64-Bit
and it can still run the new Need For Speed: World Beta on Medium settings, granted its not pushing the graphical limits with that game but it is better in comparison to Starcraft and WoW which I have played on Single Cores just fine.

That's more than enough for WoW/Starcraft I, except maybe the G31/G33. It'll be fine except possibly in Lagaran or when raiding.
However, it's easy to upgrade integrated graphics in a desktop if the power supply is decent, NVidia's GT240 is <$100 and doesn't use much power and has plenty of oomph for WoW, Aion, and even Crysis at reasonable settings.

Aion
Assuming you don't do any Fortress raids, or anything involving HUNDREDS of Elyos and Asmo's in one specific area at any given time.
