I'm so ready to take windows 7 and blow it up D: i want my old computers back!!

Okay well I have Windows 7 on my new laptop, and of course I would go out, spend a ton of money and buy a webcam , then a few months later recieve a brand new laptop find out windows 7 doesn't function with this webcam, so i have to go out and buy another one! The problem is, after research, everyone on the internet is saying Windows 7 doesn't function with any webcam at all! Now I know there has to be at least a few.... so... please lemmie know which webcams work WITH WINDOWS 7 , where to get it the cheapest (hey, you have to admit, best buy isn't the cheapest) and how much it would cost me. kay, thanks for the help.

If a Windows Vista driver exists for it , you can try using that, because the driver coding is almost the same. If you attempt this, please set a restore point before installing a Vista driver on Windows 7.

No, I've already tried basically everything. My webcam will never work on Windows 7...its 'to old' ...... i just need to buy a new one.

What webcam are you referring to?  I had the same issue with my Logitech Quickcam 4000 and was able to install it in compatibility mode.  It works fine.

There's your problem. If you buy peripherals from small, no-name companies, you can't expect driver support. I can guarantee if you would've bought one from Creative, Logitech, MS, etc., there would be W7 drivers.

yeah thats what im saying. i know it doesn't work, jasco is BS and if i would've known before that their products are crap i wouldn't of bought it. but theres no reason to try and fix it when it won't work, so now i just wanna go out and a buy a new one. Alls i wanna know is what webcams will work on Windows 7 , for sure, so i don't have any more problems with my other ones.

oh also, my Minicam pro won't uninstall now. I want to get it off my computer, but everytime i try to uninstall it, it keeps coming up with a error then says "specific module can't be found" please help?
