I just purchased my second Mac last Friday.  I loved my MacBook Pro, but I wanted more power and I am excited about this purchase.

iMac 21.5" Intel core i5 2.7GHz with 4GB RAM and a 1 Terabyte HDD.  I was actually expecting the unit to only have 2 slots for RAM, with both taken up by 2GB sticks.  I was going to purchase two 4GB sticks to upgrade to 8GB total, but I found out that the iMac had 4 slots for RAM with only 2 taken up for the current RAM.  So, I ordered my dual 8GB sticks and It'll be upgraded to 12GB RAM.

It's getting the 4 year Black Tie Protection Plan to ensure proper functionality after the Apple Warranty ends.  I've already installed Lion and a copy of Windows 7 I purchased for it so no matter what program I have, whether it's for Mac or PC, I can use it.  This is one amazing machine.  Kudos to Apple for making a comptuer that just works.  

I always get questions about why I like Apple.  Simple answer:  They just work.  In the 2 years I had my MacBook, I haven't had a single issue with it.  My previous 3 PC's, I can't say the same thing.  Yes, I can repair my PC's myself, but when I'm not at work, I prefer to be gaming or spending time with my friends, not working on computers like I do all day.

I am eagerly awaiting the Postman to bring me my RAM order.  /drool, lol.
