Re: How To connect to wireless?

You more than likely require the proxy settings to use the campus wireless network or you are connecting to the wrong wireless network. Go to the UCC lab and they can help you out.

Re: How To connect to wireless?

Do you get the limited or no connectivity error message on your wireless icon? What I do is do the following:

On Windows XP click on RUN and then type CMD and press enter. Next what I do is type in -ipconfig /flushdns

Then I type -ipconfig /release , and then -ipconfig /renew

This should resolve the problem if you are having limited or no connectivity.

In Windows Vista, its essentially the same , but you have to type CMD in the Start Search Box, where it will appear in the window then you have to right click run as administrator which grants you admin access to the command line.
