Well, I figured 2 hours for the whole process: Untying everything, pulling the PSU out, connecting it up to the HTPC, testing that, unhooking it, putting it back in the original case, and re-tying it back neatly.
But yeah, pulling it out alone, half hour or less. 5 minutes or less for someone who's done it before.

Psh.. if it's not reconfigurable/changable then it has no place in *my* network.

Which has 3 HDs, CD, Audigy audio breakout and custom power bay(6 bays worth vs your seven); any number of fans and other bits hacked in one way or another, and the large CPU cooler which is actually too big for my case. It still only takes 10 minutes to pull the PSU.

I just have to say..
Why would you run cables BEHIND a motherboard? As a technically inclined guy you *know* you're going to have to tear that system apart one day ![]()
