Has anyone received official confirmation that Best Buy is going to have the Ipad (non 3G) available for sale on the April 3rd release date? Several tech web sites have posted that as an official Apple retailer that BB will have them for sale on 4/3.  Nothing on the BB website and when I have called over the past couple of weeks nobody knows anything, including the Best Buy Apple Business Managers.  I keep getting  "we should have them" and to "keep checking our website." I can order one through Apple and have it at my front door guaranteed on April 3, but have no idea if BB will be selling them so I can add to my Rewards Zone points.  We are two weeks from the release and not a word.  Perhaps it's Apple that's not saying anything?  I mean, come on, when the Wii or XBOX 360, PS3 or Ipod was released there was mega advertising on bestbuy.com, in BB stores and sales circulars.  What is this the Holy Grail???

I cannot imagine Best Buy not selling them, but unless it is in the Ad or on the website no one from Best Buy will confirm or deny, that would be splurging business trade secrets (or some such thing I imagine).

So yeah, unless it is authorized to be released, no one will tell you anything.

BB will carry the iPad on launch day. However, not all BB locations will necessarily have them.
