HELP!! Dell Laptop won't close!!!

Well, I was playing a video game on my Dell Laptop, adn then it suddenly closed it's screen! (it went black) and it's still on, I knwo that (the power button adn the other buttons are all glowing white) but the circles on the side (the energy) are flashing orange! I plugged back the power supply cord so it could charge up energy, but it's still like this for an hour! What do I do? The laptop is a Studio XPS 13 Dell Laptop.

I also tried holding the power button, it closed, but when I opened it uip, it's still a blank screen!

Do you have a monitor that you could connect to it? Does the Studio 13 have a VGA port? If so connect a external monitor to it and see if you get any video? This will kind of tell you if your laptop display is bad.

One other thing. Maybe you hit some keys by accident. Press and hold the FN key and then press F8 until you see video on the laptop display...or whatever key is the monitor toggle key. It is usually F8.
