Hi guys,

     I'm new and thought you might be able to help me out. I just got a brand new Gateway FX6800-01e computer with Vista HP at BB which is a replacement for one I got in December that had a technical problem. When I would go into sleep mode I remember the power light would go from a steady orange glow to fading in and out to indicate it was still powered in sleep mode.  The manual says it "flashes". 

     With the new one, the power light is completely dark in sleep mode as if the power is completely turned off. It works fine when the machine is powered up with a steady light but is off in sleep mode. I realize it is no big deal since the machine seems to be working fine, but it would be nice to know when the machine is powered down or sleeping.  Any ideas?? I'd hate to have to send it away for such a small thing.  Thanks.  Tom
