I purchased the Gateway FX6800-05 desktop computer over a month ago online from Best Buy and I still have not received it. It is marked under "backorder". This computer costed me a lot of money, including $100 for shipping, hopeing I hold receive it faster. I have spoken to tons of people at Best Buy about this computer and why I still don't have it and nobody there knows anything about it. I have even tried contacting Gateway but they don't have answers either. Does anybody know what is going on with this computer? If you look on the Gateway website http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529668219.php it says that this product is out of stock and to my knowledge, they haven't sent out any of these computers in about 2 months or longer. Does anybody know what is going on?

I found this in a review. It seems Gateway made a mistake and the system has not been released for sale yet.

UPDATE: A Gateway spokesperson confirms: "We [Gateway] had a  miscommunication on the date for that SKU [the FX6800-05] internally. It should  be available for sale within the next few weeks." The Gateway spokesperson also  states that "the FX6800-05 is an exclusive BestBuy.com product."
