Hi Everyone,
I have been saving up alot of money to buy me a new a new and faster graphic card...orignally i have a GTS 450 running on my computer, now i want to upgrade even higher...with a GTX 570 or a GTX 580...right now i have a Thermaltake 600Watt power supply...i think a GTX 570 would be ok but i don't about the GTX 580...so if anyone has any knowlegde about this subject...please help!!!

Well, we need more information on your current PSU. What's the combined 12V rail power? And how about the amps? How many amps you rockin'?
Likely not going to handle it at any rate. I think the minimum is a 650 watt at any rate. Even still, if you're throwing that much power at a computer I would *guess* you like to overclock. Go for a solid 900 watt PSU and you should be golden. 600 is a little low for that. It'll make a great folding PSU though with that 450!

i really need to know the if the PSU requirments needed for GTX 570 is 550Watts...why won't it be enough when using 600Watts PSU...it even says it is needs 550Watts PSU minimum...sorry for a lot of questions...its just that i don't want my computer crash or go into a restart cycle...PSU is my main problem...im never going to overclock this card...

Thank You for your reply...i am never going to overclock my cpu and gpu...i am using a the normal Harddrive that came with the computer Hitachi HDS721075CLA332 SATA Disk Device.
