Desktop Computer goes wireless

I have a Dell Optiplex desktop that I want to connect to our wireless router/modem, for connecting to the internet. It is currently set up for a wired connection, but that is not possible.  What hardware etc. do I need to go wireless? Thanks for your help . . .

Re: Desktop Computer goes wireless

If you have a wireless router, you can put a USB network adapter in your computer and VOILA!

You would be more satisfied with a powerline ethernet adapter. Simple buy a kit, plug them in outlets next to the computer and your router, connect the adapters to the computer and router with Ethernet cable, and it works.  You will get a far better experience than going wireless. If you move the desktop to another room, simply move the adapter with it.
