Hi guys,

I want to buy this computer http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+14%22+Inspiron+Laptop+-+6GB+Memory+-+500GB+Hard+Drive+-+Espresso+...

and more 2gb ram memory for it but I have a doubt about which memory I can buy. How do I know if the 2gb laptop memory I´m buying will fit this laptop?

I was checking a video online and it raised another doubt in my head. Basically this computer is 6gb ram and I would like to increase it to 8gb which is the limit. 

Can I just buy more 2gb or do I need to buy an 8gb chip?

Generally laptops with have 2 memory slots. That computer currently has 6GB of ram so it should have 1x 4GB module and 1x 2GB module which would equal 6GB. If you wanted to upgrade to 8GB you would need to get a 4GB module and replace the 2GB module that is in there. That would max out its memory capability.
