Unbelievable.  I have "removed" Best Buy App three times now using the Program Manager in Control Panel under my Administrator login.  It keeps popping back up.  I just sent Agent Nick, a virtual agent with GeekSquad a question on how to delete the program for good and it has now been 20 minutes with not a single reply.  Not happy and probably going to return and purchase elsewhere.

To fully remove this annoying application that refuses to install, which is highly inapprorpiate, especially under domain environments and roaming profiles on laptops/desktops, perform the following steps (I was using Win7):

- Uninstall BestBuy application from Add/Remove in Control Panel
- Delete the "bestbuy" key under HKLU\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Run
- Open Computer (If Win7/Vista)
- Press ALT key and go to Tools, Folder Options, and select the box "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" and click on OK
- Now go into your C drive, and go into the semi-transparent (hidden) folder ProgramData
- I had a CLSID of "{FBF3739B-717D-4429-BCEB-98D514E65F29}" your may be different, which should have all the BestBuy-related files in there. Right-click the setup file and choose Uninstall. Allow that to finish.
- Finally DELETE both the corresponding CLSID AND the BestBuy folder in the ProgramData directory.

Reboot.
