When my computer turns on it beeps once for the start of the POST test but then it freezes at the screen that says "Initiating USB Controllers" and it will just freeze there.  I tried clearing CMOS but it didnt work.

PLEASE PLEASE what should i do?????

Well, if you see something like this... :

"Press DEL to Run Setup
Press F8 to BBS POPUP
Checking NVRAM...
Initializing USB Controllers . . ."

You can press F8 and set "Last Known Good Configuration (...)". Or something like that depending of your Operative System.

I don't know what O.S. you have, but... Also could be a problem with the IDE cable, if the PC cannot recognize the HD.

And could be that your PC needs ventilation, because if it is hot the PC will not work correctly. Open tha Case (if it's out of warranty, of course) and check how it looks inside.

If you call your computer manufacturer or even go to their website they have a manual of

error codes you can check to see what is up with your motherboard. Beeping is the computer

version of the morse code......... Well thats tacky but the way it is.
