Broken LCD Screen! plz help!

I have an Asus K50IJ-BNC5 and the screen is cracked. I can't see the right side of my screen! I have no warranty on it (don't ask me why, my om is pretty cheap) and i know the only way to fix it is if i order it online and have one of the guys in best buy or wherever fix it for me.

Problem: my mom's paranoid about buying things online.

so i'm not sure what to do... Is there any other alternative ways to get my screen fixed? plz help! i desperately need this computer for school!

You can take it to Best Buy and have it sent out for a estimate for repair. However, a laptop that can be replaced for 400 bucks is probably not going to be worth it to repair it.

But a seperate LCD monitor from your local Best Buy and carry it with you. At very least you'll still be able to use it.
