Adding RAM to desktop computer

Hi i was wondering if buying and installing RAM voids the bestbuy warranty because i do have to remove the cover of the desktop pc thankyou for your time XD

While many computers include instructions on how to replace consumer-accessible parts (like memory and hard drives) in their owner’s manual documentation, it’s generally recommended that you seek the assistance of a factory-authorized technician when performing any kind of hardware upgrade. You certainly can perform them on your own if you wish, but keep in mind that your service plan coverage does not extend to those replacement/upgrade parts and will not cover any damages that may occur as the result of improper installation!
