ASUS U56E-BAL7

After two years of struggling with Geek Squad, my ASUS G60JX (which had been faulty from the start) was junked and exchanged for an ASUS U56E-BAL7. Now, even though the computer is not as gaming intended as the previous PC, I am thankful that such an extended period of time without a usable PC, I was able to at least have it replaced. However, with the new PC, I noticed a strange "spinning out" or "winding down" noise, approximately 10-13 seconds after shut down. My question, for those who have owned this particular model (ASUS U56E-BAL7), do you experience this same noise? Otherwise, this PC can go straight back to BestBuy... again.

When did you get the U56E-BAL7?

Just two days ago. Spoke to the Geek Squad manager in the store which I bought both PCs from, he told me to bring it in for an exchange within 14 days.

Yup that would have been my advice as well; exchange it if you feel uneasy about that one you got.
