4G WiMax connection to Verizon

I'm considering buying the HP -14" Pavilion dm4 which has the Intel 4G Wimax chipset built in. Does anyone know if WiMAx will connect and work with a Verizon 4G plan?

No, Verizon uses LTE. Sprint is also ditching WiMax in favor of LTE.

WiMax is on its way out.
