I would like to purchase a laptop (my very first one),but I'm not really all that sure about what accessories I would need to access the internet on one.  I plan on using it alot at home.  At the moment I have a desktop computer and satellite internet service.  Would I need to purchase a router?  Someone please help me out,I've never owned a laptop and don't know too much about them!!  Thanks.

Sounds like you've got a handle on this. Yes, a wireless router would something you'd want to add to your laptop purchase.
