Unfortunantly I dont think there is much you can do. According to Nokia about the only way to find a cash transaction is to pretty much know the exact store, the exact day, and pretty much exact time the itme was purchased.

If it was purcahsed with cash three ways you can look up a receipt.
1. Purchased a GSBTP/GS G&G
2. Used a reward zone card
3. Know what day/time/register/amount of purchase
The more info the better for option 3.
Hope this information helps.

Should'nt it be also possible to print a receipt if someone provides first and last name and show an ID card? I mean... I know from experience that it's very hard to purchase something at any big retailer, without them asking for address, name, phone number, and so on. Even if you pay cash.
I'm just wondering. Should be everything in the system, or am I wrong?

If its a straight cash transaction, you dont have to give them that info , literally , unless you want to end up on mass snail mail lists ![]()

No store I have ever shopped at have ever asked for my name when paying in cash and i will never just give a company my name and address unless its for services to be rendered or a credit/debit transaction.

Because keeping all that information would be expensive, also... kind of invading privacy.

I bought my HP Desktop in the store w/cc. The store has no record. I have the proof of billing by the store from my bank. How about giving me a proof of purchase ? I've waited 1 hour yesterday for someone to talk to me from Bestbuy 888#. All that time I was being told, that your call is important to us, don't hang up. I'm tired of this lie. If the local store doesn't have the record, than the record doesn't exist. You just have to generate it-ammen.
