I got a new Gateway computer in August 2009 (model SX2800) and I have not been able (after many attempts) to install my Canon MP830 printer to it successfully.  I have gone to the canon website and installed the drivers, etc.  I've been using a USB cable.  This cable works fine with my hp laptop for printing but no luck on the gateway.  I think it may have something to do with the port.  Any ideas?
