Im looking into getting a new head unit installed into my car. Im just wondering do I need to buy this unit from best buy for GS to install it, or can I bring it in with all the accessories I want installed. Thanks

let the best buy geek squad autotechs know what type of car it is first of all. If they have the parts for your car, you will need to purchase the stereo, the parts and the labor and let them do their job. if you have any other questions let me know!

cool... yeah i was gonna buy all the parts myself and then have them install everything... i just didnt know if i have to buy it from best buy for them to install it...

They installed my parts, but they won't warranty the equipment.  I had to verify with the manager that the equipment was brand new by showing the receipt and that I bought it from an authorized vendor.  Most vendors that sell online are gray market retailers and may not be authorized retailers, which is why they can sell it so cheap.  If that's the case, BB may not install and you'll have to convince the manager.

I wanted them to install Python 991 b/c I didn't have the time, but typically I would've done it myself.  If you're gonna do it, at least understand the basics so you can troubleshoot it yourself b/c the install won't come warranteed if you didn't buy the equipment from them.
