Good Morning ajerrym-
A radio will have the standard (female) connector on the back of the radio. The harness from the radio will supply a "remote" wire, and if you have a powered antenna, the harness for your vehicle will have a powered antenna wire on it also. When you put those two wires together it should allow your powered antenna to move up and down when you turn the vehicle on and off.
The antenna connector behind the radio may require an adapter to fit into the standard female port. I would recommend calling your local installation bay for an exact quote for parts required for the installation into your vehicle. Have a great day!
