Replacing the Honda CR-V Navi...

Hello all. I was hoping I might find some feedback/advice. I just bought a 2007 Honda CR-V, and it came with the Honda Navi system.. which I would like to replace. I don't need the navigation, though I would like to keep my rear camera view. I would also love to have AUX and USB connections, since I'm not keen on using CD's and I don't want to fool around with the seriously outdated PC card slot. It would be kinda nice if I could continue to use my steering wheel controls.. but since those are so limited, I'm not stressed over that specifically.

I can't find much useful (to me) information on what will fit in my vehicle.. the little I can find suggests that I'll need to purchase different panels and such.. I'm not a car person, so anyone that knows what they're talking about, please lend me a little advice?

Re: Replacing the Honda CR-V Navi...

Welcome back beckhaze,

I personally love my 2010 Honda CRV which has the same trim level as your 2007, but mine did not come with navigation, so I had to add that on.  We do have a lot of options for you that I would recommend visiting your local store for further product insight, and real time pricing information of the units that are currently in stock.

For not being a car person you have definitely provided me with a lot of useful information and I do want to thank you for the time that you took to give me all of it!  I will be sending you an e-mail with the information that you provided when you registered to the Best Buy forums.  This quote will provide you with all the parts that should be required for installation purposes.  You can then take that quote to any Best Buy to have a Geek Squad installer overlook it, and order any parts that are not carried in stock.

If you are good to go with the quote all you would need to do is add on your radio that you are wanting installed and schedule your appointment by clicking HERE!  Please know that all parts and product should be purchased before scheduling so that you know of the out the door cost including the tax which is not reflected in the e-mail that I sent you. All model numbers and sku’s should be able to be ordered on BestBuy.com

I do hope you are able to get this installed by our MECP Certified Autotechs and should you need anything in the future, please do not hesitate to reach back out to me by continuing this thread on the community! Have a great day.
