The app radio 4 is a great choice. The only problem thay i have with that radio is that you always need your phone to do anything, besides radio, for it to work the way it is intended. That is fine if you are comfortable with that, but wanted to give you a heads up.

Yes there is a dash kit for that vehicle. When i get into work i will shoot you a quote. Give me a few hours

Re: viper 4202 remote start for toyota highlander

are you able to swing into a best buy to have an autotech take a look at your setup.  the one thing that i want to make sure of is the harness that is required for your "car side" and unfortunately i only have 2 options which are:

JBL/w navigation

standard

what worries me is the harness because you do have the JBL, and the standard harness would not work for that vehicle.  we do carry all of the parts in stock so if you were to schedule an appointment the installers would be able to get that taken care of at the time of installation, and also order the appropriate harness once they had the radio out, if need be.

I hope this helps, but with my computer im only given those 2 options and your best bet will be to schedule an installation for an indash dvd, and if something wasn't right the installers would let you know, and schedule you for another day with the proper parts.  Sorry i cannot be of further assistance, and best of luck!

Re: viper 4202 remote start for toyota highlander

[ Edited ]

I'm so happy with the installation service from best buy especially geek squad. I have one more questions about Viper Remote starter. Here my question:

1. My sis has Acura TSL 2007. She want  to install Viper 5305V 2 Way LCD Vehicle Car Alarm Keyless Entry Remorte Start System

She has plan to order Viper 5305V ạnd {removed per forum guidelines} from the online. She saw my car works very good from the best buy service . That's why she believes the best buy service will do good for her car too. She want to know the prices for installing and some parts may included for her car.

Re: viper 4202 remote start for toyota highlander

jaaaaaasontr what's going on man! Long time no talk, glad to hear that you enjoyed your Geek Squad installation for your vehicle! It further excites me to know that you spread the word to your family, and as always rest assure that her vehicle will be treated with the same respect as yours and all our clients.

I'm currently not going to be at work until the morning, but when I do I'll get you an out the door quote to make sure I can list the additional pieces that may be required for her Acura.

In the meantime I would like to ask you if you already have this unit, the viper 5305v, and the Dball2. If so may I encourage you to purchase from Best Buy. The biggest reason is Directed Electronics warranty with online retailers who do not offer professional installation. I'll post the link tomorrow when at work.

There is really no benefit to go elsewhere for remote starts, we completely overhauled our entire remote starts to really make sure our customers are getting the most without really digging into the holiday funds. We offer the dball2, blade-al, or the Alca bypass modules included with the all the remote starts.

I would hate to see you spend that money on amazon for something that we include along with our packaged installation, so 2 great offers included when you purchase directly from Bestbuy.com, or in-store.

All of our remote starts have a blanketed price depending on remote start keyless, and remote start keyless with security. Again I will shoot you a quote right when I get into work, but please hold off your sisters temptations to purchase from amazon until you hear the prices, I know you will see it as a no brainer!

Good to hear from you again, and I'll respond back inbetween my installs tomorrow should you need further assistance. Talk to you soon!

And before I give a quote im not entirely sure what car she drives, your vehicle make is throwing me off a little bit.

Is it an Acura TSX, or Acura TL?

Re: viper 4202 remote start for toyota highlander

Sorry for replying lately though, I got busy with the holiday week. Now, I'm back.

Thanks for your suggestion, my sister's car is Acura TL types-S with Navigation 2007.

So, how much for installating from the Geeksquad Bestbuy if she get everything from Bestbuy and vice-versa from the online???
