Do I need to buy a wiring harness for after market Kenwood KMM-BT315U installation into 03 Honda Ody

I'm gonna pick up the Kenwood KMM radio.  I have to remove the OEM radio and install it into 2003 Honda Odyssey.  Will I need to get a wiring harness and can I get it from a Best Buy Car installation location?  I could splice wires and use twist wires or it's probably easier with a wiring harness if there is one available.  Please advise.

You will need a wiring harness for this car. Avoid hardwiring especially if you're not having it professionally installed, it's unnecessarily time-consuming and comes with its own host of future problems. With a harness the only wire work to be done is from the radio-side harness to the aftermarket harness. The exact one that adapts the factory radio harness to your Kenwood KMM series radio (and any radio for that matter) will be the Metra 70-1721 harness. In order to securely fit the radio in the dash cavity you will also need the Metra 99-7898 dash trim kit. Both are generally available to purchase in store on walk-in at your local Best Buy store, though availability will vary.

NickJ_86 is spot on with the response. Should you go into a Best Buy to buy the adapters that were mentioned, you may also want to check out if the installers have time to do the installation for you. The installation would be $64.99 and a $5 materials fee, these are on top of the dash kit and harness.

There are many benefits for having us install this media receiver such as:
Life time labor warranty on all the workmanship
Professional MECP certified Autotechs
1 hour installation time frame
Factory radio re install should u trade or sell your vehicle at no charge to you

Those are just a few benefits of our professional installation. Most of the time we carry these products in stock required for your vehicle, and we have alternatives also in a different brand that would be the same price.

One last thing, please note that media receivers do NOT have CD players. Great questions and let me know if I can assist you further! Best of luck.
