When I try to upload a video from my JVC Everio camcorder, I receive the message: ... MOV060.MPG could not be imported. An interface has too many methods to fire events from...
I have seen on discussion boards that I must convert my video files to another format. The problem is, I don't know how to do this. Please help, as Geek Squad Agent told me today that he didn't know how either!

Hi cjhaus,
The error message "An interface has too many methods to fire events from..." in Windows Movie Maker usually means the video you are trying to import is an MPEG-2 file which doesn't work well with Windows Movie Maker. This file format is a high quality format so I would suggest converting the footage to another high quality format like DV-AVI before trying to import your footage to Windows Movie Maker.
To convert your footage you are going to need to get software that can convert your footage to a format that works with Windows Movie Maker. An example of software that we sell that can do this is Movie Edit Pro 15, but there are many different programs that can convert video files in a wide range of capabilities and price (even free). You could try searching the internet for video conversion software and you should get multiple results. I hope this helps!
