I just bought a Kodak easyshare Z712IS and I was told that I could only use the kodak 8000

rechargable can I use regular AA rechargables like energizer?  I know that kodak does not

recommened using regular Alkilane.

Hey dhoch,

The three types of batteries that Kodak says are compatible with this camera are the Kodak Li-Ion rechargeable digital camera battery KLIC-8000, Kodak lithium digital camera battery CRV3 (non-rechargeable), and AA lithium batteries. I would stick to those three battery types. I hope this helps!
